Description Required Skills/Abilities: u2022 Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software and equipment (i.e., Cell phones, A/V equipment). u2022 Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM or other endpoint management solutions. u2022 Ability to support networked printers and multifunction devices. u2022 Knowledge of current communications devices, Microsoft OS and applications. u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously. u2022 Advanced verbal and written communications. u2022 Must regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. u2022 Works at different shifts outside of stated office hours as needed. u2022 Flexibility to provide afterhours support to computer users throughout the firm by being part of an afterhours on-call rotation. ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS: The role reports to the Desktop Support Manager and works with all technology staff. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Works directly with firm employees to provide services and help resolve computing problems. u2022 Provides timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and eliminate downtime. u2022 Processes requests for computer technical assistance and problem resolution from helpdesk ticket escalations and employees. u2022 Collects detailed information to categorize requests to determine methods of resolution. u2022 Exercises sound professional judgment in analysis of problem to: (1) attempt hardware/software solution or (2) escalate to the appropriate support tier. u2022 Coordinates with vendors to arrange support services, hardware repairs, and replacement of laptops, desktops, and other equipment. u2022 Manages computer deployments using Microsoft SCCM and communicates relevant services, processes, and procedures to end users. u2022 Tracks and maintains an accurate inventory of all technology assets. u2022 Performs level I system administration functions. u2022 Assists with audio/visual technology support. Experience: u2022 Minimum associateu2019s degree in the field of computer science or 3-5 years equivalent work experience. u2022 Minimum 3 years of experience using current business office technologies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
