The Position: Under the direction of the AsphaltPlant Area Manager, the Asphalt Plant Manager is responsible for theday-to-day operations associated with asphalt plant supervision andasphalt production. In addition, will be directing and coordinating theactivities related to the production of asphalt for internal asphaltcustomers and external customers. Support daily operations acrossmultiple asphalt plant facilities. Promote safe work practices andassist with safety meetings, inspections, and compliance efforts. Helpreview project requirements and support asphalt mix design and qualitycontrol processes. Coordinate material testing and monitor results withguidance from technical services. Assist with production scheduling,plant maintenance planning, and staffing coordination. Help managematerial supply needs to ensure timely and costeffective production.Support budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing for plantoperations. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training efforts forplant personnel. Assist with securing necessary permits and coordinatinggeneral plant site maintenance. Work with subcontractors and internalteams to support smooth plant operations. Perform additional dutiesrelated to asphalt plant operations as needed.
