We want you to apply Job Summary and Qualifications As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey. Your responsibilities will include: + Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use + Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices + Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens + Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices + Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights Role Summary: Provides technical and clinical support to licensed Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists in various clinical settings including the Operating Rooms, Pre-operative areas, Post Anesthesia Care units, and Procedural areas (Endoscopy, Interventional and/or Diagnostic radiology), Ambulatory Surgery sites, Dental suites, and on the hospital units in the event of emergency. The Anesthesia Technician will assist with duties such as transportation, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management, within the anesthesia technician scope of practice and under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider and/or registered nurse. The Anesthesia Technician will provide support for routine and/or emergency surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician will assist by taking call as assigned. Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need. What qualifications you will need: + Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. + Preferred Education: Current listing with Division of Facility Services as NA-I or II. + Required License:BLS + Preferred License:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) + Required Experience:Previous hospital or healthcare experience + Preferred Experience:1 year OR experience and/or Anesthesia Support role.
