Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Theu200bLead Systems Engineer is expected to be able to accomplish the following: + Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. + Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. + Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements. + Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures related to the overall product development. + Designs interfaces and brings system elements together, so they work as a whole. + Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. + Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. + Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. + Translateshigh-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements. + Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. + Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. + Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS + Active TS/SCI +CI Polyclearance + BS, 16-18 years of relevant experience; MS, 14-16 years; PhD, 10+ years + One of the following DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II or III Certifications: + Security+ CySA+ CASP+ CISSP + One advanced technical certification aligned to infrastructure domain, such as: + Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect + AWS Solutions Architect u2013 Associate or Professional + Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) + VMware VCP-DCV DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS + CISSP (Highly Preferred) + Certified Information Systems Security Manager (CISM) + TOGAF Foundation or Certified Architect + Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator + VMware VCP (Data Center Virtualization or Cloud) + AWS Solutions Architect u2013 Professional + Azure Solutions Architect Expert + INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) u2013 Preferred + ITILu00ae 4 Foundation (Minimum) + ITIL Managing Professional (Preferred) + Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) + HashiCorp Terraform Associate + Red Hat OpenShift Certification + DevOps Institute Certifications (e.g., DevSecOps Foundation) + Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) + Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) + RMF-related training (NIST 800-53 / 800-37 familiarity) Overview We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agencyu2019s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
