Settlement Officer

This role is fully in office and requires travel to branch real estate offices between Blue Bell and Main Line.Barristers is a successful, experienced and dynamic settlement agency.We offer health benefits, 401k, paid holidays, time off and opportunities for growth!Do you possess excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment?We have an immediate opening for a Settlement Officer to close real estate transactions for our customers in accordance with instructions contained in the Agreement of Sale and instructions provided by lenders, if applicable.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:Conduct real estate closings and notarize documentsReview buyer/seller documents prior to executionPrepare and review estimated settlement statementsConfirm that all loan conditions have been satisfied and obtain lenders approval to fund closingsIssue all disbursement checksVerify that all funds have been received and transaction is in balance prior to closingFollow up on post closing matters, as neededOther knowledge, skills and abilities required are:A high school diploma or equivalentAssociates Degree preferredA minimum of 3 years recent settlement experience is preferred but not required - we will train the right candidate!
