BASIC FUNCTION:The Assistant Retail and Concessions Manager will oversee the daily operation of the Pantry, Beanery, Pico Taco, Toy & Candy Retail & Zamboni’s as well as other potential activations at the Lodge at Spruce Peak. They help train and motivate staff to provide exceptional service, maximize profitability and drive a positive culture rooted in the Core Values of Spruce Peak.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the Daily Operation of the Pantry, Beanery, Toy & Candy, Pico Taco, Zambonis and other activations as applicable.Train line level Colleagues to ensure seamless & luxurious guest service.Manages schedule and payroll for municate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.Ensure a welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops and side stations through floor presence, and ensuring operational readiness of all service periodsSupervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance and conduct of service team.Monitoring and respond to customer experience opportunities in real time.Coaching in the moment to Service Colleagues for both celebration and opportunities.Maintains house bank and handles all cash according to Resort and departmental policies and proceduresMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special eventsTakes restaurant reservations when needed for internal and external guestsIs knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Spruce Peak policies.Other duties as necessaryRate: $26.00 - $28.50 per hourne year of supervisory experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent leadership and communication skillsBasic computer skills including MS Office and MicrosFlexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be 18 years of age or olderMust have or obtain a valid DLC certificateAbility to stand/walk up to 10 hours per dayAbility to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 30 lbs.
