February 4 Commercial Litigation Associate Houston, TX Direct Hire Job ID: 821be545-2b43-4fd9-a9c2-2965ff7c73cd Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) to join the Commercial Litigation Practice Group in our Houston office. Qualified candidate must be a persuasive legal writer and oral advocate and will have experience with complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, an exceptional work ethic, and must be comfortable having direct interaction with partners and are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collaborative environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of our Litigation Department. The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 - $310,000.
