AR Accountant - Full-Time Engagement Professionals

Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled and analytical Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals team. What Makes This Role Unique + Full-time salary and benefits while working on diverse accounting projects + Exposure to different industries and systems + Opportunity to strengthen technical accounting and process improvement skills + Professional development and career growth within consulting Preferred Experience + Manufacturing, healthcare, energy, or corporate accounting environments + Process improvement or system implementation involvement + Leading AR clean-up projects or improving collections performance Requirements Key Responsibilities + Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections strategy + Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies + Analyze aging reports and identify trends or risk areas + Support month-end and quarter-end close related to AR and revenue + Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve billing and collection processes + Assist with system implementations, process improvements, or clean-up projects + Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies + Support audit requests and documentation related to revenue and receivables + Prepare reports and provide insights to leadership on AR performance Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, not required + 3+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable or general accounting + Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition support, and reconciliations + Experience working in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) + Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Experience in project-based or multi-entity environments is a plus Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
