Join a growing leader in the building products industry and help us continue to be the Company of Choice.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Collaboration & Customer Interaction Collaborate with outside sales, operations manager, and customers to understand the projectSolve complex issues in a timely mannerCoordinate with operations for delivery of material to the job siteRead and interpret architectural drawings and specificationsDocument all aspects of any given project through sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence.Work with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping detailsPurchase material for assigned jobs.Select vendors, negotiate best price for purchased material and have knowledge of vendor pricingEstimating & SubmittalsTake Sales calls and receive ordersPrepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or serviceCreate submittals and transmit them to customersCreate “take-offs” on doors, frames and hardwareCreate machine sheets and other design specs for frame, door and hardware products as necessaryMiscellaneousSupport our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 5 years with Wood Doors, Hollow Metal Frames and Commercial Door HardwareDHI certification a plusKnowledge of contract documentsExperience with large projectsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong reading comprehensionAttention to detailStrong time management and organizational skillsMS Word and ExcelKnowledge with Specworks, Comsense, Protech or similar industry related software preferredCurrent knowledge on codes, products and design changes for doors, frames and finish hardwareReports ToVice President of OperationsCompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
