This role is hands-on and fast-paced, similar to FedEx, UPS, or foodservice route delivery. Drivers are responsible for accurate deliveries, customer interaction, and maintaining DOT compliance while representing the company professionally on all routes.Note: This is a physical, route-delivery position. Over-the-road (OTR) or semi-truck experience alone is not a fit for this role.ScheduleMonday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (or until route is finished)Tuesday: OffWednesday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (or until route is finished)Thursday: Every other week, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PMFriday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or until route is finished)Saturday: Every other week, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PMWhat You’ll DoDeliver product within assigned routes, schedules, and delivery windowsCommunicate route delays or issues to management immediatelyUnload product by hand or with hand cart/pallet jack; may include stairs, ramps, docks, and outdoor conditionsVerify deliveries and obtain customer signaturesResolve invoice discrepancies with management authorizationCollect and turn in payments (cash/checks) when requiredHandle transfer envelopes between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh locationsOperate Samsara tablet system for logs and compliancePick up damaged goods and customer returns; complete required paperworkPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulationsComplete DVIR reports dailyRefuel vehicles and check DEF/oil levels as requiredMaintain accurate DOT logs and report issues immediatelyFollow all safety protocols and preferred work methodsMaintain cleanliness of vehicles and assist with warehouse sanitationComplete driver safety testing and daily route paperworkBe punctual for departures and aware of customer delivery timesAssist with warehouse duties during slower or seasonal periodsWhat You’ll NeedValid Class A, B, or C CDL (based on vehicle driven) with a clean driving recordActive USDOT Medical CardExperience with route delivery (FedEx, UPS, foodservice, beverage, or similar preferred)Ability to physically keep pace with daily delivery routesWorking knowledge of USDOT regulationsAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishStrong customer service and communication skillsBasic math skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentAbility to pass:Drug test (random testing pool)Background checkLicense check (pre-approval required)Working ConditionsLocal travel with extended driving periodsExposure to cold temperatures and outdoor conditionsProfessional appearance required; company gear providedSchedule may include weekends, holidays, and varied shiftsPhysical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry 50-80 lbsRepeatedly enter and exit vehicle throughout the shiftReach up to 72 inches to stack/unstack productBend, twist, climb, squat, crouch, and balance during deliveriesNavigate stairs and uneven surfaces at customer locationsWho We AreEuclid Fish Company is a fourth-generation family-owned food company, proudly providing high-quality and sustainable seafood solutions since 1944.
