The position will support leaders and employees regarding Company policies, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner. This a generalist role with responsibilities for recruitment (hourly and salary), benefits administration and employee relation matters.Oversee the entire recruitment process including updating job descriptions, job postings, interviewing and onboarding of new employeesBuild relationships with community, school and workforce agencies to increase company visibilityServe as point of contact for HR-related inquiries for the facilityPartner with leadership team to create a create a workforce plan to ensure staffing and talent levels are maintained and proactively identify hourly/salary staffing and development needsSupport VP -HR to accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions and implement action plansIn partnership with VP of HR ensure HR actions are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws, regulations and leave policies (eg. ADA, EEO and FLSA).Ensure all job descriptions are updated for all positions and participate with VP of HR in maintaining pay grades to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.Track, manage and approve employee leave requests through FMLASource and State of Massachusetts portalMaintain employee records and internal HR systems with accuracyProvide guidance to leaders regarding employee matters to include performance coaching and performance improvement plansCoordinate and support training initiatives for the facility (in partnership with Corporate training team)Performs benefit administration to include communicating and enrolling new hires in benefitsFacilitate and support employee engagement activities by actively participating in, planning, and recommending employee engagement recognition and appreciation eventsCreate and communicate organizational and policy changes to employees in a clear and impactful mannerIdentifies opportunities for Organizational and HR process improvements and supports implementation of changesAll other duties as assigned by ManagerPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.Minimum of 5 plus years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a manufacturing or similar environmentMust possess excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be familiar with all local, state and federal employment lawsAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalismStrong interpersonal, communication, presentation skillsMust be able to work with minimal supervision and directionWilling to work flexible hours as necessaryMust be a U.S PersonsThe salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 annually and represents the minimum and maximum for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to:prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications and internal equity.The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
