MasTec is seeking an Operational Finance Senior to join our high‑growth Power Delivery division. This role partners closely with operational leadership to ensure financial accuracy, project performance, and disciplined forecasting across complex infrastructure projects.You’ll lead a team, serving as the primary liaison between operations, finance, accounting, and project management. Reporting to the Business Unit Controller, you will play a central role in delivering financial insights, supporting decision‑making, and ensuring strong financial and operational controls.Lead up to a team of 3Oversee the financial results for jobs /projects, including, but not limited to, revenue recognition, accruals, expense coding, billing, analytics, controls, and cost managementPartner with Operations, Project Management, and Finance to understand each job / projects financial results and report that financial position, addressing ad hock questions as necessaryPerform causation-based variance analysis and discuss the results with operations and finance leadershipForecast job / projects financial results to support resource allocations and other decisions, including risks and opportunities Track and assess business unit’s backlogMonitor and analyze customer billings, open POs, expense trendsEnsure adherence to business processes and policies and procedures to maintain an effective control environmentMaintain compliance with government and organizational reporting requirementsProvide consistent and reliable data for ongoing forecasting and planning, including P&L and cash flowPerform ad hoc analysis - productivity, utilization, and otherBS in Finance, Accounting, Cost Engineer or Project Management; Understanding of data-driven decision making and financial modeling Basic knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, and controls4-10 years of accounting, finance, cost engineer or project management experience Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate wellProblem solving abilities Highly organized and detail orientedKEY COMPETENCIESCollaborate (Plan & Align, Influence) - Build partnerships & work collaboratively w/others to meet shared objectivesCustomer Focus - Build strong customer relationships & deliver customer-centric solutionsInstill Trust (& Exhibit Courage) - Gain the confidence & trust of others through honesty, integrity & authenticityManage Ambiguity - Operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clearAction Oriented - Take on new opportunities & tough challenges w/a sense of urgency, high energy & enthusiasmDrive Results - Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstancesEnsure Accountability - Holding self & others accountable to meet commitmentsH&M Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.
