Vulnerability Remediation Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Varonis Engineer (3u20135 years of experience) to support Data, SaaS, and DB security posture management and remediation efforts. This role will collaborate closely with Cybersecurity and Application Owners to address and remediate risks, optimize Varonis platform configurations, and improve alerting and incident response workflows. Once the rollout is complete and the migration from the legacy environment is finalized, the engineer will lead efforts to remediate data, operationalize workflows, and build pipelines to support ongoing security operations. Key Responsibilities: u2022u2003Lead remediation efforts across DAAS platforms using Varonis, working with application owners to address identified risks. u2022u2003Configure Varonis dashboards, generate reports, and drive conversations with internal stakeholders to improve security posture. u2022u2003Build automation and tooling to support operations and incident response teams. u2022u2003Troubleshoot support escalation cases and contribute to real-time collaborative response improvements. u2022u2003Enhance alerting systems by integrating Varonis capabilities with automation and contextual enrichment for on-call responders. u2022u2003Maintain and update runbooks, tools, and documentation to prepare teams for future incidents. u2022u2003Conduct and document post-incident reviews, ensuring actionable follow-ups. u2022u2003Continuously refine documentation based on incident learnings and operational feedback. u2022u2003Collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize security workflows and build scalable pipelines for data remediation and posture management.
