Description Real Estate firm seeking a Sr. Accountant for growing team We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the commercial real estate development and management industry. The role is based in Marina Del Rey, California, and involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be expected to process and maintain accurate customer credit records, among other responsibilities. Please email resume to Eric Herndon Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department u2022 Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications u2022 Prepare and reconcile financial statements u2022 Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable and General Ledger u2022 Conduct audits, bank account reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation u2022 Oversee building CAM Processing u2022 Prepare tax returns for external CPA u2022 Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries u2022 Use Microsoft Excel, or MRI, Yardi for various accounting tasks u2022 Implement internal controls and ensure their effectiveness u2022 Communicate effectively with financial institutions, tenants, and vendors. Requirements u2022 The candidate must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Sr. Accountant. u2022 Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for this role. u2022 The role requires expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation. u2022 The candidate should have experience in performing Bank Reconciliations. u2022 A deep understanding of the General Ledger is necessary for this role. u2022 The candidate should be adept at making Journal Entries. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for this role. u2022 Experience in Month End Close is required.
