Position Summary: Under warehouse supervision, a sanitation worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary warehouse and office in a manner that is consistent with the company's standards of quality and safety, and productivity. We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits including: Note- this is a Cold Storage facility: 34u00b0 F to 55u00b0 F Schedule : 3pm - 130am Sunday - Wednesday (work is complete) 4/10's 3pm - 130am Thursday - Saturday (work is complete) 3/12's Pay : $19.57/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential Additional Benefits: u2022 Paid Time Off u2022 Medical Insurance u2022 Dental Insurance u2022 Vision Insurance u2022 Life Insurance u2022 401K u2022 $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment u2022 Associate Referral Program Major Responsibilities: u2022 Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces u2022 Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable u2022 Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis u2022 Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements u2022 Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc. u2022 Complete daily sanitation logs u2022 Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment u2022 Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties u2022 Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues u2022 Complies with all safety requirements u2022 Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor u2022 Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: u2022 Previous sanitation and/or warehouse experience preferred. u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred u2022 Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required u2022 Flexible to work overtime preferred u2022 Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required u2022 Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required u2022 Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
