Job Title: Plumber Helper Job Description We are seeking dedicated and reliable plumber helpers for a long-term opportunity in the Vestal, NY area. The role involves working on both commercial and industrial projects, handling new and existing plumbing systems. Plumbers will install and build valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in a commercial setting. The position requires proficiency with water, gas supply lines, and sanitation/sewage lines, as well as expertise in cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures for existing systems. Responsibilities + Install and build valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial settings. + Work with water, gas supply lines, and sanitation/sewage lines. + Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures for existing systems. + Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair issues during installation. + Utilize internal technology to report and document job orders and work performed. + Work primarily with PVC, CPVC, PEX, and copper tubing. + Build connections to main mains and install fixtures such as dishwashers, sinks, and other household appliances. Essential Skills + 6+ months of experience within commercial construction. + OSHA 10 certification and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency with hand and power tools, and other plumbing-specific tools. + Experience in reading and following blueprints and rough drawings. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vestal, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
