Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Job Description + We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Syracuse, NY, for an exciting opportunity to support the first phase of a major multi-billion-dollar advanced technology development project. + This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic environment and gain valuable experience under the guidance of skilled leaders. Responsibilities + Support Project Manager team members with large project packages, such as the $10M fencing package for the Micron Phase 1 project. + Attend and participate in contractor weekly meetings. + Prepare and manage meeting minutes. + Handle submittals, RFIs, and change orders. + Conduct take-offs and maintain accurate project documentation. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience within a general contractor environment. + Proficiency in construction management, project engineering, and project management. + Experience with RFIs, change orders, submittals, and meeting minutes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with ProCore software. + A degree in CM or Engineering is beneficial but not required. Work Environment + This position is primarily onsite at the construction site, located approximately 20 minutes outside downtown Syracuse, NY. + The work environment is dynamic, involving large-scale construction activities such as site grading, clearing, excavation, soil replacement, and stormwater management. + The office is located downtown, but the focus will be on-site work as the project progresses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clay, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
