QA Associate

Job Title: QA Associate Job Description We are seeking an entry-level QA Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and are eager to grow within a smaller company where you are not just a number. Responsibilities + Review QC data, with a focus on raw material approvals by gathering data from the QC department, confirming it in the database, and printing labels to release the materials. + Conduct QC investigations to ensure compliance and quality standards are met. + Perform audit trail reviews to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. + Assist with the management of secondary standards. + Support supplier qualification processes to ensure high-quality materials are sourced. + Provide backup support for the finished product team. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of experience in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. + Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology. An Associate's degree is also acceptable. + 1-2 years of quality experience, ideally with experience in QC testing. + Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with database systems used in laboratory settings. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is beneficial. + Ability to analyze specifications and determine pass or fail status. + A proactive mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and ask critical questions. + Strong attention to detail and the capability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance. Work Environment Join a small, close-knit QA team of less than 10 members in an office setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
