Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support our client's estate planning, probate, and trust administration practice in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will be an integral part of managing legal processes related to wealth transfers, estate and gift tax returns, and probate matters. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in estate planning and trust administration, along with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with estate planning and wealth transfer strategies to meet client needs. u2022 Prepare and review legal documents related to probate and trust administration. u2022 Manage deadlines and filings for estate and gift tax returns. u2022 Conduct research to ensure compliance with current estate and probate laws. u2022 Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for legal proceedings. u2022 Maintain accurate records and files for ongoing cases. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the practice. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case management. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. u2022 Strong knowledge of probate procedures and estate administration processes. u2022 Proficiency in preparing estate and gift tax returns. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism. u2022 Familiarity with legal research tools and resources. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
