A Vehicle Hardware Integration Engineer acts as single point of contact for Program to Functional Engineering while ensuring and coordinating functional support and assisting functional teams in any way possible to remove roadblocks and get the job done. VHE Integration are process owners for the function. What you'll do... + Drive internal functional issue resolution (Exterior commodities, BIW, Ext. Orn., Fascias, lightning) + Escalate issues when needed. + Drive cross-functional issue resolution (program, finance, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, suppliers, etc.) + Lead resolution of PD launch issues via JIRAs, CRs, CMFs, FCPA, Alerts, & other launch performance metrics for on time delivery of launch. + Lead NMPDC whiteboard issues resolution and PCN generation and approval during DCV builds. + Manage total cost, content, and other attributes & metrics within the VHE zone. + Support functional sign-off and compatibility reviews to deliver all Program Milestones on-time with completed metrics. + Identify opportunity areas for optimization and part reduction. + Active on-site Exterior SPOC for program, attributes, VO, and NML teams through launch phases from LR through OKTB. + Ensure alignment of engineering resources to budget for all phases of the program. You'll have... + Bachelor's degree in engineering + 3+ yearsu2019 experience in Exterior System Integration + 2+ years of experience with Design & Release or Design Engineering + 2+ years of experience using GPDS processes and Ford Systems + 1+ years of experience with Cost Setting Process and Functional Led Cost/Appearance Delivery Process Even better, you may have... + Demonstrated Production Launch Experience. + Demonstrated experience with Program Management. + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (open, clear, and inclusive). + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently. + Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs. + Demonstrated the ability to build strong effective relationships with cross functional teams (Program, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering).
