Job Title: Microelectronics Assembler Job Description We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a prominent technology company located in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this position, you will play a key part in assembling and testing cutting-edge products and systems in production. Responsibilities + Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings. + Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. + Understand and interpret assembly processes and work instructions. + Work with components ranging from microscopic to large that may require visual magnification. + Utilize various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, as well as pneumatic tools like torque drivers and screwdrivers. + Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes. + Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and engage in continuous improvement efforts. Essential Skills + Must be able to acquire security clearance + Assembly, hand tool, and production experience. + Experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, and soldering. + Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. + Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. + Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment. + Strong work ethic with a reputation for punctuality and reliability. + Desire to grow and learn in the role. + Troubleshooting skills. + Experience with power tools. Work Environment The role operates on a clean manufacturing floor with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, following 1.5 months of training on the first shift (Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chelmsford, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
