Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial data, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of payment records. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong commitment to precision and efficiency in a fast-paced financial services environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Accurately input financial data into internal systems to ensure up-to-date records. u2022 Maintain and update customer account information in accordance with company policies. u2022 Verify data integrity by reviewing entries and identifying discrepancies. u2022 Assist in reconciling accounts, investigating variances, and resolving issues. u2022 Generate routine reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries. u2022 Prepare and track correspondence related to payment activities or account updates. u2022 Apply payments to accounts and monitor outstanding balances for timely resolution. u2022 Organize and maintain documentation and supporting records for accounts receivable tasks. Requirements u2022 Proven attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks. u2022 Previous experience in accounts receivable or data entry is preferred. u2022 Strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively. u2022 Familiarity with financial documents and internal systems. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills. u2022 Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including collections and billing. u2022 Proficiency in cash applications and commercial collections. u2022 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
