Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Must be a Citizen Job Description The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with internal and external customers to assist in the design and development of both new and existing products. This role involves providing processing-related technical customer support and researching new and improved methods for processing products. A thorough understanding of electronic assembly, including solder printing processes, pick & place, reflow thermal profiling, automatic inspection, cleaning, x-ray analysis, electrical/functional testing, and SMT troubleshooting, is essential. Responsibilities + Collaborate with internal and external customers on product design and development. + Provide technical support related to processing for customers. + Research and implement new and improved processing methods. + Understand and apply SMT electronic assembly processes such as solder printing, pick & place, and reflow thermal profiling. + Conduct automatic inspections, cleaning, x-ray analysis, and electrical/functional testing. + Troubleshoot SMT-related issues. Essential Skills + 3+ years of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience. + Engineering Degree or IPC-A-610 Certification. + Experience in new product development or R&D projects. + Thorough understanding of SMT electronic assembly and troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of IPC standards and hardware design. + Familiarity with PCB and Surface Mount Technology. Work Environment The role is based in an R&D new product development manufacturing line, not a volume SMT line. Work hours are Monday to Friday, onsite from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to start earlier, from 7 AM to 4 PM if needed.
