Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Germantown, Tennessee. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to grow into a role with greater ownership over accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and technologically adept, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: u2022 Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate payment handling from receipt to completion. u2022 Oversee credit card expense processing, maintaining thorough records and ensuring timely payments. u2022 Handle supplier payments and member rebates, utilizing specialized platforms such as Sophio and Rebate Management systems. u2022 Prepare and deliver AP Aging Reports to the President for weekly approval of payment runs. u2022 Maintain ACH and wire payment information within banking and accounting systems. u2022 Enter and process payment batches, including both small manual entries and automated large batches. u2022 Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring proper approvals and accurate postings. u2022 Manage annual documentation processes such as W-2s and maintain vendor information in accounting systems. u2022 Perform general administrative tasks and assist with special projects assigned by the controller. u2022 Support the team by maintaining organized backup documentation for payments and filings.
