Field Support Technician

Job Description We are seeking an Entry-Level Desktop Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Knoxville, TN. This role focuses on the staging, imaging, and deployment of kiosks that will be shipped to locations across the United States. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically curious, and comfortable supporting deployments from start to finish. You will work closely with on-site installers during installation, assist with configuration and troubleshooting, and follow up post-installation to ensure successful deployment. Key Responsibilities + Set up, image, and stage kiosk hardware in a Knoxville-based environment + Prepare and ship kiosks to deployment sites nationwide + Provide phone-based support to installers during on-site installation + Configure IP settings and validate network connectivity + Perform post-installation follow-ups, including resets and verification of successful installs + Troubleshoot hardware and software issues throughout the entire processu2014from staging and imaging through installation and post-deployment + Document work and updates using a ticketing or help desk system + Deliver professional, customer-focused technical support to internal and external stakeholders Required Skills + Desktop and technical support + Hardware setup and troubleshooting + Imaging and deployment (Windows environments) + Installation and configuration support + Strong troubleshooting skills + Customer service and communication skills + Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN.
