Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in managing accounts receivable processes, commercial collections, and cash applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections while maintaining strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. u2022 Conduct commercial collections to recover outstanding payments from clients in a courteous manner. u2022 Apply cash receipts to appropriate accounts and reconcile discrepancies. u2022 Monitor and track customer accounts to identify overdue balances and take appropriate action. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure smooth payment processing. u2022 Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts. u2022 Communicate proactively with clients to address payment issues and maintain positive relationships. u2022 Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all receivable processes. u2022 Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the accounts receivable function. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. u2022 Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application processes. u2022 Proficiency in billing functions and financial systems. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. u2022 High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts. u2022 Familiarity with compliance standards and financial regulations. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
