Production Associate / Operator (Day shift)

Job title: Production Associate / Operator Location: 375 Cabela Dr, Verdi, NV 89349 Pay rate: $18ph Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. If overtime is required, contractors will work on Fridays. Contract: Contract-to-hire Interview: onsite The Production Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations throughout the door components manufacturing process. Production Associates are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by regularly rotating positions to achieve success. Working safely is a key skill needed in this position. What you will need: + No experience needed + HS Diploma or GED preferred + Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen + Safety toe shoes What you will do: + Duties include everything from sweeping and cleaning, to sorting and stacking, to learning the ropes of the Machine Operator job. + Take pride and great care in checking quality for every order you help fill for our customers. + Assist Machine Operators + Take full ownership of your work area and work to achieve Total Quality Management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation + Ability to work in a standing position for 10-hour shifts + Lots of energy for walking, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, stretching, grabbing, pulling, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment + A focus on safety around operating machinery + Willingness to learn and be trained + Excellent attendance u2013 must be reliable and punctual Safe Production: Masonite strives to maintain a target 0% safety incident rate.
