The Commercial Sales Summer Intern will support the Commercial Sales team through strategic database improvement initiatives, market research, and targeted marketing campaign development. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales operations, market expansion strategy, and revenue growth initiatives within a competitive commercial environment. This internship is structured as a project-based experience to be completed within the 12-week program. This position is located at the Dallas Corporate office and is an onsite internship opportunity. This is not a remote role. The selected intern will present project outcomes at our annual Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Program Details + Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 Friday, August 7, 2026 + Length: 12 Weeks + Schedule: Full-time, hourly + Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day Project Scope & Responsibilities The Commercial Sales Intern will support the following initiatives: Service Butler Database Optimization + Assist with database cleanup and data validation + Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements + Support new initiatives to strengthen database accuracy and usability Market Research & Expansion Strategy + Conduct market research to identify expansion opportunities + Analyze geographic and segment-based growth potential + Support recommendations to capture additional market share Targeted Marketing Campaigns + Assist in developing campaigns focused on franchisees and general contractors + Support messaging strategy tailored to specific commercial segments + Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with brand objectives Product Category Growth Initiatives + Support campaigns designed to increase sales in key product categories including Exteriors, LVT, and Quartz + Assist with performance tracking and reporting Project Impact A successful internship will: + Improve database integrity and usability for the Commercial Sales team + Identify new revenue opportunities and expansion markets + Strengthen targeted marketing efforts + Support measurable growth in strategic product categories Qualifications + Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field + Strong analytical and research skills + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite + Strong communication and presentation skills + Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment What You Will Gain + Exposure to commercial sales strategy and database management + Experience conducting market research and campaign development + Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams + Opportunity to present revenue-impacting initiatives to leadership We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, career opportunities, and an environment of creativity and growth.
