What We Offer The Director, Legal Operations will lead strategic and operational initiatives that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of the Legal Department. This role will oversee legal technology platforms and administrative staff and will be responsible for driving process improvements, managing vendor relationships, and aligning legal operations with enterprise goals. The Director of Legal Operations will report to the Deputy Chief Legal Officer to align and drive objectives and workflows for legal operations with overall organizational and departmental priorities. This position will work closely with department leaders as a member of the departmental leadership team as well as with stakeholders and the departmentu2019s clients throughout Novant Health to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives, manage key processes and deliverables that are critical to the Legal Department. What We're Looking For + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Health Care Administration, Paralegal studies or a related field. + Experience: Minimum of 10 yearsu2019 experience in a legal setting (OR) Juris Doctorate degree with 8 years experience as identified below, required. Minimum of 5 yearsu2019 experience managing initiatives and/or operations processes for legal departments or law firms, required. + Additional Skills (required): + Experience managing complex legal, risk, governance and compliance issues. + Experience managing teams, and building systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. + Experience translating strategic goals into operational goals and overseeing execution + Proven experience leading legal administrative and operations management, driving execution, managing stakeholders, budget planning and resource management + Ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems, and analyze processes for efficiency. + Problem Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. + Highly Effective Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and inclusively with key stakeholders at all levels. + Belonging: Fosters a work environment of inclusion and belonging for all team members. + Judgment: Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results. + Respect confidential information. + Additional Skills (preferred): Business acumen: Possess strong project management and organizational skills, including strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
