FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01Shift: Shift 4 Shift Details: Flexible scheduling to meet needs ofstudents. Weekend shifts and PM shifts required. Must be available towork 8 hours per week. Job Summary: Intern II: Students enrolled in thesecond year of an RT program are encouraged to apply for positions thatbegin Summer 2026. To be considered, applications must be received nolater than May 2026. Flexible scheduling available to support youracademic success. Performs basic respiratory care duties as directed bythe medical staff and in accordance with the hospital's objectives,policies and procedures. The individual will have a preceptor identifiedprior to the start of each rotation for supervision of duties. Otherduties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Successful completion of allfirst year clinical rotations for respiratory therapy program isrequired. Must be and remain in good standing within the respiratorytherapy program. Clinical experience in hospital, home care or skillednursing facility is preferred. Member of the American Association forRespiratory Care/state Society for Respiratory Care is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Currently enrolled in an entry or advanced levelaccredited Respiratory Therapy Education program is required. HighSchool diploma or equivalent is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 daysof hire.
