Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Work will be performed at multiple locations throughout Franklin County and including some neighboring locations in Delaware County. Workers will be taught to use the necessary tools (e.g. mowers, trimmers, etc.) on job site and as needed to perform duties.Employer will assist workers in securing lodging if requested.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer willu00a0reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistenceu00a0from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
