Education and experience must be in administrative support, customer service, office management, or related field.License/Certification:Valid drivers license or access to transportationOther Requirements:Must be able to pass a written test to verify fluency in American Sign LanguageTrainee Option:NonePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Interpreter licensure preferred, candidates who have passed the New Hampshire Interpreter Screening at Level 6 or higher or possess equivalent certification recognized by the NH Interpreter Licensure Board are strongly encouraged to apply.Strong knowledge of Deaf culture, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and other relevant legislation and their implementation at the federal, state, and local levels.AFTER-HIRE REQUIREMENTS: NoneCAREER ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:In-Band Advancement Available: Yes NoBroad Group Level Advancement Available: Yes NoDISCLAIMERS:The supplemental job description lists the essential functions of the position and is not intended to include every job duty and responsibility specific to the position.
