Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional CustomerService/Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM The CustomerService/Warehouse Associate will need someone responsible for providinga variety of support such as servicing walk-in customers, completingsales transactions in conjunction with material handling duties such asreceiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customersorders, and inventory checks. This position may involve daily use offorklift and/or crane equipment. Expected base pay rates for the rolewill be between $35,000 and $44,000 at the commencement of employment.However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basisand is only part of the compensation package, which depending on theposition, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation,discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, andother company-sponsored benefit programs. Primary Objective Performs avariety of customer service/office administration and warehouse dutiesrelated to the operation of a Sales Service Center location. PrimaryFunction and Scope Performs various customer service duties such as:waiting on customers, assisting customers in determining orderrequirements, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, providingdirection/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, andaccepting payments. Addresses and resolves customer complaints(returns and order errors). Performs various office administrationduties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciliation of DSRsand cash box, preparation of bank deposits, balance petty cash box,preparing various performance reports, updating customer master file andcreating vendor orders. Performs various product order duties such asentering customer orders, creating plant/RDC orders, and completingstock replenishment orders. Waits on customers and prepares salesslips. Produces daily sales reports. Performs a variety ofwarehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checkingoutbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks,restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools,caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conductdaily cycle counts. Performs receiving duties such as receiving andunloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stockingmaterial, processing customer returns, and notifying management ofdamaged shipments for freight claims. Operates crane forkliftequipment. Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trashremoval, restroom cleaning and general office maintenance, etc. Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules asoutlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafeconditions and acts to Management. Performs other related duties asrequired. Experience and Knowledge Required HS diploma or equivalentexperience; 1+ years of customer service experience and warehouseexperience Forklift Experience Competencies Organization, math, timemanagement, computer skills, detail-oriented, customer service, safetyconscious.
