Job Description

You are an experienced CRM professional seeking opportunities to growyour career within a supportive, collaborative environment. You excel atbuilding strong relationships across all levels of the organization andwith clients, and you enjoy leading people and projects. You have: ' AMaster's degree or PhD in Anthropology or a closely related field withan Archaeology emphasis. ' Prepared a Master's thesis or doctoraldissertation. ' At least 5 years of cultural resources experienceworking in Washington or Oregon, preferably at a cultural resourcesconsulting firm. ' At least 2 years managing projects (i.e., beingresponsible for proposing on, planning, and implementing all phases ofproject work within budget, on time, and to scope, in close coordinationwith clients, agencies, Tribes, and others). ' Qualifications meetingSOI standards in archaeology. ' If in/near Oregon, qualifications to bepermittable by the Oregon SHPO. You also have: ' Demonstrated abilityto successfully manage a project from the proposal preparation stage tothe final client deliverable. ' Strong interpersonal skills tosuccessfully function within a multi-level project team and thedemonstrated ability to work cohesively with other project managers,senior staff, clients, agencies, and Tribes. ' Demonstrated ability tooversee, coordinate, and provide direction to project teams andeffectively lead survey and resource evaluation fieldwork usingappropriate techniques. ' The ability to work in physically challengingenvironments, in all weather conditions, while carrying field equipmentand walking several miles per day across varied terrain. ' Lead authorand technical writing experience using environmental data, culturalresources reports, ethnographies, SHPO databases and other sources toanalyze field and laboratory investigations and present results andrecommendations according to applicable regulatory nexuses. 'Experience authoring research designs, monitoring plans, inadvertentdiscovery plans, management plans, and/or other cultural resourcedocuments. ' The ability to develop and maintain positive relationshipsby listening and communicating effectively, providing and acceptingfeedback, and resolving conflict via communication and collaboration. 'The ability to take direction from leadership and collaborate with teammembers and remember and follow detailed instructions. Up to 30 percentof your time will be spent in the field, and much of that travel may beoutside the local area. Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest and theWest is likely.
