We are seeking a Global Connectivity Distinguished Engineer to accelerate next-generation solutions. The Global Connectivity Distinguished Engineer is responsible for working with industry partners to align the strategic design, deployment, and optimization of high-capacity pathwaysu2014terrestrial long-haul and subseau2014that interconnect AI Factories. You will act as the bridge between physical fiber infrastructure and global-scale AI deployments. What youu2019ll be doing: + Participate with partners on diverse long-haul terrestrial routes to ensure network resilience and high-capacity data flow between regional AI hubs. + Participate in subsea and terrestrial consortiums to enable capacity, efficiency, and optimize cost-per-bit for transit. + Work with government relations to facilitate engagements by influencing market rules to support reliable and scalable fiber options to enable AI Factories + Conduct market and connectivity-systems analysis, providing economic modeling, risk assessment, and portfolio valuation to inform investment decisions. + Advance the transition from
