Responsibilities u2022 Drive projects in the VEP Data Engineering by working cross-functionally with Product Management, Project Management, Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and other Data Engineers etc. u2022 Customer empathy and delight will be the main drivers for success u2022 70-85% hands-on development in all phases of the software life cycle. u2022 Designing end to end data pipeline given business and ops requirements (ingestion, processing and storage). Conduct design and code reviews. u2022 Own the tech vision and strategy for multiple domains or capabilities u2022 Identify dependencies, estimate work, sequence tasks as inputs to building project plans u2022 Build GenAI based solutions to solve for customers/Experts benefit or internal productivity gains. u2022 Collaborates effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex engineering problems u2022 Influences and communicates effectively with non-technical audiences including senior product managers and business stakeholders u2022 Focus on operational excellence through root cause analysis and continuous improvement. u2022 Ability to proactively follow issues through to resolution. u2022 Contribute to innovations that fuel the growth of Intuit as a whole Qualifications u2022 10+ years software development experience with work experience in developing DB schemas, creating ETLs, and familiarity with MPP/Hadoop systems. u2022 Advanced experience with scripting language u2013 Python, Shell etc. u2022 Experience with Amazon web services: EC2, S3, and EMR (Elastic Map u2022 Reduce), Redshift or equivalent cloud computing approaches u2022 Hands on experience with Hadoop stack of technologies u2013 mainly Hive, Hive on Spark u2022 Big Data: Designing, Building and maintaining highly scalable, robust & fault-tolerant complex data processing pipelines from the ground up u2022 Experience working with large data volumes u2022 Experience creating and consuming JSON/REST web services and u2022 communicating with systems u2022 Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and practices u2022 Experience working in Agile development teams; working knowledge of Agile (Scrum) development methodologies u2022 Operational mindset with ability to do Problem, SLA and Incident Management u2022 Strong expertise in writing analytical SQLs, Data Marts, Data Warehousing and analytic architecture u2022 BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
