About this Role - Project Manager - West StrategicProjects We are looking for a talented Project Manager who has a passionfor quality construction. This position is responsible for thesupervising, directing and coordinating the construction and associatedproject management of electric utility construction projects.The ProjectManager acts as the single point of management responsibility fromproject pre-planning to total construction administration services,participating in the development of processes, procedures, and systemsto deliver projects to our customers on schedule and within budget. WhatYou'll Do -Lead the day-to-day oversight, management and administrationof the company's safety management system -Work with the project teamto oversee construction activity to ensure projects are constructed inaccordance with design, budget and schedule -Interface withowner/client, and on-site construction crews as required to ensureproject safety, quality, project schedule and other milestones are met-Learn and apply MJ Project Management standards and best practices toall aspects of work -Track, report and manage the work via the MJEProject Controls Reporting System (PCRS) -Prepare electrical utilityconstruction proposals and estimates, including drawing take-offs-Expected to forecast and report on project profitability while managingproject budget -Coordinate all aspects of job set up to incorporate MJstandards regarding safety, scheduling, document control plan, costcodes, job cost spread, material/tooling plan, billing, etc. -Work withthe project team to plan and evaluate performance adjustments needed tostay within budget and on schedule for project completion -Interfacewith client/owner representative, IBEW union members and...
