Role Overview Sodexo is hiring our General Manager 4 Environmental Services for a potential sale in New Jersey for the K12 segment. As a key leader within our Facilities Management team, our General Manager will oversee custodial, sanitation, and grounds operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery to a highu2011visibility client environment. Reporting directly to the FM Director, this role requires a handsu2011on leader with strong technical expertise, the ability to communicate effectively with Cu2011Suite stakeholders, and the operational discipline to manage a complex budget. Our ideal candidate brings a blend of custodial and grounds knowledge, team leadership, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and efficient equipment and facilities. What You'll Do + Have the _Black Seal Certification required in NJ_ + Optimize a $2M+ annual budget , identifying costu2011saving opportunities without compromising service standards. + Oversee preventive maintenance programs for custodial equipment and ensure optimal performance and longevity. + Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client leadership, providing clear communication, updates, and strategic recommendations. + Lead daily operations across custodial, sanitation, and grounds teams, ensuring high-quality service and regulatory compliance + Coach, mentor, and develop staff, driving performance improvements and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
