The Branch Manager I isresponsible for the promotion of bank products and services that supportoverall company goals. This position is generally responsible for $5million in combined deposits.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Partner with management to coordinate and attain branch, region andcompany objectives.2. Hire, coach and lead a strong support team of tellers and CSRs.3. Comply with all company policies and procedures.4. Must have the ability and knowledge to backup all positions withinthe branch.5. Ensures all operational functions are performed accurately andtimely.6. May originate, process and close various consumer and small businessloan products.7. Responsible for maintaining and developing business for the branch.8. May require participation in civic and community organizations.9. Responsible for completion of regular monthly audits.10. Ensures all security procedures are strictly followed.11. Responsible for prevention of monetary loss.12. Conducts regular staff meetings to keep staff informed.13. Responsible for timely completion of annual performance reviews anddisciplinary action as needed.14. Maintain a safe and professional business environment. Ensure allequipment is in good working order.15. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training asassigned.16. Participate in regular SWOT analysis for competitive advantage.17. Perform other duties as assigned.18. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listedbelow are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basicaccounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plusnight, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training,equal to two years of college, plus 3 years related experience and/ortraining, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalentcombination of education and MUNICATION SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and understand general business/companyrelated articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectivelybefore groups of customers or employees.
