We are looking for someone that will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Current Nevada EMT-P or AEMT Certification- Current BLS- Advanced cardiac rhythm competency within 6 months of hire- Completion of Healthstream course AACN: Essentials of ECG and Dysrhythmia Monitoring within 6 months of hireJOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Paramedic Job Duties/Responsibilities:- Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift for patients who remain in the ED that the paramedic has performed direct patient care utilizing IMAP and SBAR. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.- Provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
