About this Job: Unit Highlights2 Bles is an 18-bed Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit. Clinical nurses on 2 Bles provide expert care for acutely ill hematology and oncology patients, with a focus on blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Medstar Georgetown University Hospital is FACT accredited for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants and cellular therapies such as CAR T and TIL therapy. Patients receiving these treatments are cared for on 2 Bles by nurses with specialized training in oncology and hematology.The nurses on 2 Bles are committed tocura personalis, care for the whole person, and actively involve families in the care of their patients throughout all stages of treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
