Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal HealthOperations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing ventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.Job SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.​ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming material - sort, count, unpack, verify goods received match bill of lading/packing slip or invoice and record necessary informationDeliver incoming goods and materials to various departmentsDrive company vehicle to transport airfreight, mail, packages, and go to the offsite warehouse for production materials as neededCount materials at the offsite warehouseUnload trucks and move material to staging areas - prepare inventory transmission documents for incoming, raw and work-in-process material, coordinate bulk plastic receipt and movementShare responsibility with others in the warehouse to run the box printing process as neededCommunicate with planners and vendors for certifications, packing list and quantity adjustmentsUse a variety of hand tools, carts, dollies and forklifts (forklift training/certification done on site)Participate in EH&S activities such as: root cause analysis, finding solutions, implementing improvements, inspections, and meetingsFollow all ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA and plant/corporate standards, policies, and proceduresObserve all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performedReport all safety incidents, hazards, and potential unsafe working conditionsWork overtime as requiredOther duties as assigned with or without accommodationQualifications1-2 years of experience, preferredHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredProficient in Microsoft Office programsWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasksReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned areaMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolutionWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks under moderate degree of supervisionWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisorRefers complex unusual problems to supervisorPay rate:$22.00 per hourBonus eligible:NoBenefits:Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close:03/20/2026 if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
