Subordinate Positions: NoneLocation: Libertyville, ILSalary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (Depending on skills and experience)Position Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise reporting and data integration solutions. This position is responsible for developing and supporting the SAP Business Objects (BO) reporting environment as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP Data Services job issues. The BIA’s role is to deliver timely reporting, maintain data quality, and support business operations. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive support mindset, and effective communication to technical and non-technical teams.Major Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence and Universe Design ToolDevelop and maintain BO Universes based on business requirements and data modelsPartner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions Work with business users to test and troubleshoot reports, update schedules, and provide report access Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot SAP Data Services jobs to ensure timely and accurate data loadsValidate data accuracy across Data Services, data warehouse, and BO reporting Document reporting solutions, data definitions, and Data Services workflows Provide end user support and training as neededRequirements:Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, including job monitoring and troubleshootingTwo or more years experience with SAP Business Objects WebI Reporting, and Universe designBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experienceProficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA) Knowledge in ETL processes, Data Warehouse modeling, and reporting best practicesPrior experience in production support environment and issue resolutionThe following characteristics:Strong problem-solving mindset, especially in business user support and troubleshooting scenariosConduct effective stakeholder interviews and translate documentation into requirementsEffective communication of technical and non-technical concepts to stakeholders at various levelsExcellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasksDetail oriented with a focus on data accuracy, quality, and reliabilityAdaptable and open to learning new tools, processes, and technologiesCapacity to learn the Snap-on Credit Business model for all products segments and their life cycleEffort: This position may require some nights and weekends, based on project deadlinesWorking Environment: Normal office environment (On-Site)
