You will maintain financial information and related reporting, while ensuring internal controls are preserved. For this role we are specifically looking for a Senior Accountant proven ASC 606 and GAAP knowledge and experience. This is a hybrid role with the expectations of coming to the office in Bloomington, MN, 3 day a week.What you’ll be doing...Coordinate the application of proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC606 for our Software as a Service (SaaS) based business modelEngage with internal functional management to analyze key drivers of revenue and expenses. and provide related revenue and profit forecasts for the business to make strategic decisionsAssist with the monthly determination of segment and product profitability in company level financial resultsPerform reconciliations of financial data, research variances, and adjust as neededEnter, review, and/or approve financial transactions in the company’s financial systemMaintain controls over sales tax and various business tax reportingReview and/or prepare schedules and work papers for internal and external auditors as requiredMonitor compliance with company financial policies and in accordance with GAAPAssist with monthly and annual financial statements for the company’s business activitiesWork with operational leaders to develop annual revenue budget and related mid-year forecastsAssist with financial and tax auditsLead special projects and/or project teams, as assignedSupport department training of other Finance staffWhat you’ll bring to us…Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountingCPA certification preferredProven experience and working knowledge of ASC 606 AND GAAP Revenue RecognitionMinimum 5 years of accounting experience within a global corporate environmentMinimum 3 years of revenue recognition experience, preferably in a SaaS technology businessMinimum 5 years of experience working with ERP software (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)Experience with multi-currency and transaction/translation activitiesProven excellence in written and verbal communicationWorking knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to understand, interpret and present conclusions on financial dataWe Support Who You Are….As a global company, we strive to create an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives spark innovation and meet the challenges of an evolving world.
