We invite you to apply to join our team of employees who are dedicated to excellence that meet the needs of the warfighters and our customers around the world, day in and day out.Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards | Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standardsGeneral ProfileRequires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational processWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelinesWorks with close supervisionPerforms manual tasks according to established procedures Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment, or materials Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements. Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required. Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained. Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing. Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures. Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. Requires ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings.Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperiencePreferred education and experience: Associate's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Technical Degree or equivalent training and experienceKnowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.May need to stand for long periods of time.This position is Safety-Sensitive.No or very little travel likely.$43,350.00 - $58,650.00The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
