Chemical Lab Technician in Bryan College Station

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Lab Technician position at a chemical manufacturing company in the Bryan/College Station area. The overall responsibility of the position is to formulate new products as well as improve existing products. In addition, this role will provide support to the company in various areas related to meeting customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Support the development of new products and improvement of existing products + Calibrate and maintain lab equipment + Document lab results and communicate updates as needed + Provide manufacturing and sales with support including QC, technical service, troubleshooting, and product recommendations + Working with customers on new product trials and field technical service + Identify and utilize new and more efficient raw materials + Follow work site rules for safety, waste, and chemical handling + Maintain a clean and orderly work bench and lab work area Qualifications: + Bachelors degree in Chemistry + 1 year of industry lab experience is preferred but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply + Ability to work with hazardous chemicals + Proficient with Windows based software, including databases + Good verbal and written skills for internal and external communication + Organized and detail oriented This is a temp to hire position with a Monday u2013 Friday day shift work schedule. Pay rate for the position is $28.85 per hour.
