Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager with experience specializing in individual (1040), partnership (1065), corporate (1120), and estate (1030) tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and possess a gregarious personality that fosters collaboration and enhances client relationships.Tax Manager Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review various tax returns, including 1040s, 1065s, 1120s, and 1030s, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.- Handle complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert guidance.- Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management and reporting.- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients and the firm.- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports as needed.- Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Tax Manager Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.- Extensive knowledge of 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1030 tax forms.- Proficient in QuickBooks Online; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a gregarious personality that thrives in a team-oriented environment.- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Tax Manager Benefits:- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.- Retirement plan with company match.- Hybrid schedule- Opportunities for professional development and continued education.
