Morrison Healthcare Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Lead NICU Dietitian in Torrance, CA Location : Morrison Healthcare at Harbor UCLA Setting : Acute care Schedule : Monday through Friday, no weekends Requirement : RD Credential, NICU experience, CCS paneling or able to obtain within 1 year Position Details : In this role, you will provide specialized nutrition care within the NICU and pediatric units at a large teaching hospital. Responsibilities include conducting detailed nutrition assessments, developing and implementing individualized nutrition support plans, monitoring growth and development, and managing specialized feeding regimens such as parenteral and enteral nutrition. You will collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and pharmacists to optimize patient outcomes. In addition, you will provide leadership for the milk room team responsible for preparing individualized breastmilk and formula feedings for NICU patients, ensuring safety, accuracy, and adherence to evidence-based protocols. Other responsibilities include providing parent and caregiver education, participating in interdisciplinary medical rounds, contributing to clinical teaching for students and interns, and supporting quality improvement initiatives related to neonatal and pediatric nutrition.
