Job Title: Welder ufeff Pay: $30 - $35/hr DOE Shift: 5am - 1:30pm; Monday - Friday + Occasional OT on Saturdays Job Description We are seeking skilled welders to join our high-output fabrication team, supporting heavy industrial and structural builds. This role involves welding A36 mild steel components ranging from u00bd inch to 1.5 inches thick, along with rectangular and round 2-beam assemblies. Work is performed according to detailed blueprint callouts, requiring accuracy, consistency, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable staying under the hood for long stretchesu2014up to eight hours a dayu2014while producing clean, defect-free welds and avoiding issues such as porosity or air pockets. In addition to welding, the role includes assembly work, fitting parts, and collaborating with other departments throughout the fabrication process. Responsibilities + Perform Flux-Core welding on mild steel components in accordance with blueprint specifications. + Fit and assemble structural components using a variety of hand and power tools. + Conduct visual inspections to verify weld quality, structural integrity, and dimensional accuracy. + Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment. + Support additional fabrication tasks as needed, including work with aluminum components. Essential Skills + 2u20135 years of welding experience. + Experience working with structural or steel equipment for 2u20135 years. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans. + Proficiency in MIG and Flux-Core welding. + Experience with aluminum welding. Work Environment Work in a small metal job shop that may be dirty or dusty, with exposure to indoor and outdoor environments. Our first shift runs Monday through Friday from 5am to 1:30pm, with a lunch break from 9:45am to 10:15am. Saturdays are from 6am to 2:30pm, with overtime available.
