This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow work instructions and quality standards. Key Responsibilities + Apply masking materials (tape, plugs, caps, paper) to parts according to drawings and work instructions. + Remove masking materials after coating without damaging parts. + Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure accuracy and quality. + Follow specifications, blueprints, and process sheets. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safetyu2011compliant workstation. + Handle parts carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or contamination. + Meet daily production and quality standards. + Adhere to all PPE, safety, and environmental procedures. Essential Skills + Proficiency using basic hand tools. + Experience in production, masking, or similar manufacturing processes. + Ability to read and follow blueprints and process sheets. Additional Experience (Preferred but Not Required) + Loading metal or plastic parts onto conveyor lines. + Cleaning and prepping metal parts. + Sanding metal or plastic using sandpaper. + Assisting coaters with part preparation. + Masking areas that do not require finishing. + Assisting printing operators with part handling. + Removing paint from parts using razor blades or sanding. + Packaging parts in bags, boxes, or pallets. + Spanishu2011speaking candidates strongly preferred. Work Environment + Fastu2011paced manufacturing setting. + Day shift with overtime opportunities. + Requires consistent use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols. + Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fountain Valley, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
